April 2011
Dear Fellow Servants,
Statistics show that roughly 1,000 Zambians die each week due to the AIDS epidemic; this number doesn’t include those who lose their lives due to starvation and other numerous widespread diseases. Statistics like these demonstrate the urgency with which new missionaries are needed on the field. Sadly in the past few years several missionary families have left the field of Zambia for various reasons; the need is greater than ever.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me”. Isaiah 6:8
We would like to encourage those churches who haven’t come on board yet to prayerfully consider us as we draw closer to leaving for the field. If you would like to be part of a ministry from the very beginning now is the time to commit.
We’re thankful for the new ministry partners who have come on board since the first of the year moving us ever closer to our needed level of support. We are grateful for their confidence in God that He will do a work through us in Zambia.
For those of you who have been a part of God’s plan for our provision on this journey we are eternally grateful. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial sacrifice is such a blessing to us, you have ministered to us in ways that you don’t know. Many of you have been with us since the start of this journey and it’s been a long road. Without your faithfulness to God, following His command to reach the world we wouldn’t be where we’re at today. We’re getting so close we can taste it and feel the pull to move across the waters. Our excitement is building and we look forward to what God has in store for us when we finally reach Zambia.
We continue to pray and ask you to pray with us that God will supply the remaining 30% of our support and our remaining set-up costs by May so we can be on our way by early summer; our hearts are already there!
Continued prayer needs:
· Travel mercies/schedules Serving together,
· Funds for shipping & set-up
· Funds for Vehicle
