June 2011
Dear Fellow Servants,
It is our prayer that the next letter you receive will be our final letter from the States. We plan to leave for the field at the end of September and are checking into airline tickets to firm up our departure date. We can’t begin to tell you how deeply we desire to be on the field and begin the ministry God has called us to. What a privilege it will be to finally arrive and begin to serve and minister to God’s people in Zambia, Africa. We have had many new ministry partners since our last letter and it’s with great excitement that we report our support level is now at 85%. The end of this journey is coming into view!
It’s been a great blessing to preach, teach and minister in many churches throughout Texas and into Kansas and Missouri since the first of the year and an even greater blessing to see God continue to work in the hearts of His people. We have seen many lives changed through personal surrender and commitments to God; He who rules the universe still rules in the hearts of man. Praise the Lord!
We want to thank everyone who has been a part of this ministry throughout our deputation. We know that it has been a long wearisome task, but we have taken away many valuable lessons, experiences and memories while traveling the roads meeting wonderful folks such as you. We wouldn’t trade this experience for anything this side of heaven, because we know it is preparing us for what lies ahead.
Please continue to pray for God to provide the additional funds we need and pray for Him to lead you & your congregation in what part you might be able to have in helping with monthly support, and/or moving and relocation expenses. For shipping we need approximately $13,000.00 more, we continue to need additional funds for a vehicle and funds for set-up on the field.
We are in the process of getting a shipping container delivered hopefully by the end of the month so we can start to sort and pack for the move.
“We will need the additional $13,000.00 to transport the container by the end of August; any gifts toward this need will be greatly appreciated.“
There is a great deal to think about at this time and many, many details that need to be worked out. When we went to Zambia this past September we received multiple entrance Visas so praise the Lord we’re covered there; however, there are work permits, etc. that need to be taken care of. Please pray that we can pull everything together soon so we can tie up all the loose ends.
